Born and raised in the City Beautiful (Coral Gables), Alexia Bermello Caltagirone, of Cuban-Lebanese decent, is a true Miami-an and couldn’t imagine selling real estate anywhere else.
After graduating from Carrollton School of the Sacred Heart in 1998, Alexia received a Bachelor Degree in Communications from the University of Miami where she majored in Broadcast Journalism and Business Administration. She studied abroad in Salamanca, Spain and Rome, Italy while she modeled for various designers such as Oscar de la Renta, Carolina Herrera and Angel Sanchez.
Alexia then set her sights on the Real Estate business in 2002, after her father, a well known Architect, Willy Bermello, started developing mixed-use high-rises throughout South Florida. She began as a sales executive for BAP Development’s urban undertaking in West Palm Beach, 610 Clematis. After relocating to Palm Beach and selling out the project before construction commenced, Alexia then returned to Miami and sold out another BAP waterfront condominium, Onyx on The Bay.
She was then promoted to Vice President of Marketing and Sales, where she served as a liaison between advertising agencies and public relation firms for the company’s projects; coordinating advertising campaigns, sales center grand openings and operations, groundbreaking events and buyer outreach programs for various projects throughout South Florida and the Caribbean.
After constant traveling to the Caribbean for projects in the Dominican Republic and Antigua, Mrs. Bermello Caltagirone decided to permanently relocate in La Romana- Casa De Campo, Dominican Republic in 2008. In her years residing there, she continued managing the marketing and sales for the corporate office, managed the sales and marketing efforts for the 200 luxurious residences along the Dye Fore Golf Course, known as Los Altos and she created a new hotel flag for the condominium rentals under Los Altos Club in Casa de Campo.
